The Jar That Became a Galaxy

Vera grew up, and left her beloved city of Jaffa after the Nakba of 1948. She still lives, works, and produces her artworks in the city of Ramallah. Vera was very fortunate to grow up in a family that loved art and music and encouraged them. She studied art in Lebanon, Italy, and Britain, specializing in artistic ceramics and art history, and worked as a professor of art at Birzeit University for many years. Over the years of her life, Vera has participated in many local and international exhibitions, and many of her artworks are held in museums around the world.
