This story was written to mirror the suffering of Gaza's children during war and the psychological traumas they endure. Laila is one of the children forced to displace with their families to a school near their home. However, she lost the ability to speak upon seeing the rubble of her house, and she did not regain her voice until Umm Saber told her a story.
