The story of two children who left their small village to search for their mother, who was forced to work in Johannesburg. This took place under the shadow of the apartheid system that tore South Africa apart for many decades. Naledi and Tiro’s journey opened horizons for a new understanding of the reality of their existence and their lives as two Black children in a society governed and legislated by white people.
