Stories from Palestinian Folk Heritage

The book contains nine folk stories from the Bethlehem district. They vary in type, length, and how realistic they are, and fall under the classification of “fairy tales.” The author carried out several kinds of editing: selecting the folk stories, collecting them, editing them, then retelling them in simplified Modern Standard Arabic that stays as close as possible to the original colloquial dialect. The book also includes a French translation, as part of the collaboration to publish it.
