I Will Not Write Poetry and Other Texts

This book presents a collection of texts and drawings created by Palestinian children. These works are the fruit of workshops conducted by writer Hani Al-Salmi and artist Hanaa Ahmed with children in Gaza, providing them with a space to express their suppressed emotions through creative writing. These texts were then sent to children in Hebron and Jerusalem, who added their own drawings and visual interpretations, resulting in a shared literary and artistic intersection. This collaborative narrative unites children across Palestine and reflects their experiences during the genocidal war.
