Tamer Institute for Community Education organized a three-day summer camp called "Wonderland" in partnership with 40 children from the "Moustakbali" program and 15 young boys and girls from the "Voices of Palestine" team in Gaza. The activity aimed at developing children's English language skills and exchanging experiences between the Voices of Palestine team and the Moustakbali program children, which is funded by the Abaraaj Group and supervised by "Al-Taa'awn" organization.
During the camp, the children participated in interactive activities that aimed to build various skills, including dialogue, communication, cultural awareness, and self-expression. The Voices of Palestine team and the Moustakbali children formed wonderful friendships throughout the camp activities. They got to know each other and enjoyed practicing their English language skills. By the end, they presented six cultural corners showcasing information about Mexico, China, France, Italy, India, and the United States.
The summer camp provided an opportunity to broaden horizons and create a new field for young people interested in language development. It aimed not only to develop their language skills but also to use language as a tool for dialogue, participation, and expressing opinions, which will contribute to their future development in their academic, professional, and personal lives.
