The Supportive Education project for orphaned students, implemented by Tamer Institute for Community Education as part of the "Mostaqbali" program in its ninth year, and under the supervision of "Al-Taa'awon" organization, aims to enhance academic and creative performance for more than 1000 children. The project achieves this by developing tools used in curriculum activities and expressive arts, with the aim of enriching children's experiences directly related to creativity and providing them with the opportunity to express their thoughts and emotions. The project has two main objectives. The first is to open the door for discussion and participation in global initiatives and external scholarships, as well as various forms of expressive arts such as creative writing, sports activities, artistic workshops, and exploratory visits to agricultural nurseries, scientific exhibitions, parks, community libraries, university laboratories, archaeological sites, and seaports. The second objective is to improve children's academic performance through supportive education workshops and develop their English language skills in speaking, discussing, and writing, which will contribute to their future development and enable them to benefit from the language in their academic, professional, and personal lives.
The "Mostaqbali" program is a comprehensive program funded by Abrar Group and supervised by "Al-Taa'awon". It was launched in 2009 immediately after the aggression on Gaza and designed to span 22 years, aiming to empower orphaned children in Gaza and provide them with a decent life by offering educational opportunities, physical and mental health components, and skills that enable them to become productive and active members of society.
