The Children's Literature Resource Center at Tamer Institute for Community Education offers various services and community activities targeting children and youth in the Palestinian community. The center also hosts a range of courses and regular meetings aimed at developing children's libraries and raising awareness about their importance, as well as training librarians and storytellers. The center also hosts Palestinian children's literature authors to discuss their works and develop this genre of literature. Additionally, the center annually launches a campaign to promote reading in collaboration with various cultural institutions. Each year, the campaign adopts a theme related to a social or national issue.

Tamer Institute for Community Education sees the Resource Center as the backbone upon which it relies. It nurtures the children's literature project through regular workshops for children's literature writers, illustrators, editors, and librarians. It serves as a link between the institute and the Palestinian community, providing the majority of direct services related to children's literature. Therefore, the center must meet certain conditions, whether in terms of location, staff, or the quality of services it provides.

The Children's Literature Resource Center can benefit from the expertise and guidance of the Children's Literature Committee, which includes prominent individuals, writers, illustrators, and translators in the field of children's literature in Palestine. This can be achieved through organizing meetings with the committee to evaluate the status of the Resource Center and the workshops held there, as well as receiving suggestions to help develop and build upon what already exists.

The Resource Center is the main driving force behind the reading promotion campaign and serves as the link between Tamer Institute and other social, civil, and governmental institutions during the campaign. It facilitates communication with these institutions and invites them to participate in the activities of the Reading Week. Moreover, the center serves as a resource for all the latest releases in children's literature, which it consistently provides to children's libraries distributed across various cities in Palestine, as well as to numerous schools, clubs, and charitable organizations that work with children in one way or another.
