Tamer Institute conducted a workshop titled "Cartoon as a Learning Tool" at the Beitunia Municipal Library on August 11th and 12th, 2018. The workshop was attended by a group of cartoon artists, as well as interested librarians, teachers, and facilitators from various Palestinian areas. The workshop focused on methods of interpreting images, understanding the young audience and their interests. Additionally, there was a discussion on the use of cartoon art as a learning tool in community libraries and schools, as well as the tools that facilitators and artists can use when working with young people through the medium of cartoons.
