World's Biggest Children's Literature Award Presented in Stockholm, Sweden tonight to the Tamer Institute

Tonight June 2 the Tamer Institute for Community Education, working on the West Bank and Gaza, receive the five milion SEK (approx 460, 000 EUR) Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award. The Award is presented by H.R.H. Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden.

VOICES releases its writing on the Wall
29 November 2008

November 29 is recognised every year as being the International Day of Solidarity with Palestinian people. To mark the day this year, Tamer's VOICES youth group has released a collection of creative writing pieces on the Wall. The pieces aim to raise awareness of the effects of the Wall on Palestinians and are a product of these youth's creativity and passion for writing.
